Harneys Fiduciary expands General Counsel team

Harneys Fiduciary is pleased to announce the expansion of our General Counsel team with the appointment of David Wilman and Kavita Maharaj-Alexander, who bring a wealth of experience and expertise to our business.

David joins us with over 25 years of professional services legal and operational experience, including more than a decade as a general counsel. David will lead the Harneys Fiduciary in-house legal function, driving excellence and strategic direction.

Kavita has been appointed as deputy general counsel in our Cayman Islands office. Kavita who was recently admitted to the Cayman Bar, has extensive experience in financial services regulation. She will be delivering legal advice on regulatory, contractual and corporate governance matters.

The General Counsel team will continue to be supported by our existing members. Nyssa-Kaye Darby, based in our British Virgin Islands office, serves as deputy general counsel and advises on a range of areas concerning corporate governance, regulatory and compliance. Kelly Ho, our deputy counsel for Asia, based in our Hong Kong office, advises on a range of regulatory, contractual and corporate governance matters, supporting our fiduciary offices and their respective teams. Finally, Marios Koutsios, our compliance officer for Cyprus plays a valuable part-time role in supporting the team, drawing on his vast transactional experience.

Each individual forms the cornerstone of the Harneys Fiduciary General Counsel team, delivering unparalleled legal expertise and knowledge across our business.
