Aidan is an associate director within our Cayman Islands team, providing independent director services to a wide range of investment funds and corporate structures.
He joined Harneys Fiduciary in 2024, having previously worked as vice president within the Governance Services team of Ocorian Trust Cayman, where he provided independent director services to a range of regulated and non-regulated funds, investment advisors, and corporate entities. Within this position, he developed and led the Economic Substance service line, including the oversight and management of DITC-related reporting. He is also experienced in the provision of AEOI reporting and conflict review services. Prior to his tenure at Ocorian, Aidan was an audit supervisor with KPMG in the Cayman Islands.
Aidan began his career as an auditor with Grant Thornton Ireland and has extensive experience auditing a diverse portfolio of entities in the retail, technology, manufacturing, insurance, and financial services sectors.
Aidan holds a Bachelor of Business Studies (Hons) degree from the University of Limerick, a Postgraduate Diploma in Professional Accounting, and a Master’s degree in Taxation, with a research focus on multinational corporate structures. Aidan is a member of the Chartered Accountants of Ireland, an accredited director with the Chartered Governance Institute of Canada, and a registered director with the Cayman Islands Monetary Authority.
